If you want to see both 192.168.102.x and 192.168.1.x, you need to change your setup like:
cable modem -> Moto Vt1005 -> Router -> PCs
That's what my experience anyway.

The way to see both 192.168.0.x and 192.168.102.x is when you have this configuration: cable modem->phone modem->router->computer (that's what I experienced anyway)

To reset to the factory default settings (I have a Vt1000v so it is probably the same for VT1005), plug your PC directly to the phone modem PC port, open a browser, in the URL field type:
192.168.10 ...
