Your laptop can probably cope with 220V so don't include it as it is relatively power hungry.

Don't buy a transformer that is just adequate ...

I have never succeeded in doing what you are trying to do. The only success I have had is where Call Forwarding is enabled. In that case a call using V-Access is forwarded correctly.
