Unless you've already done so make sure that you punch solid copper, not stranded to the 1x9 Bridged Telephone Board. Stranded wire will not get a good connection at all with a 110 block.

They also toned the lines to verify the pairs were ok on all the jacks. Any ideas?

If they "toned" the cable did they just verify the cable, or did they tone the cable then verify how the pairs ...

Just make sure you don't short out any of the RJ-45 ports!

Just crimped on a RJ-11 with pins 3 and 4 shorted and ALL noise is now gone. Hopefully it doesn't mess something else up though. Thanks for the post!
