Excellent, txcas! My setup currently has the ATA *behind* the router, due to all the reliability issues I've read about from posters on this forurm who have their ATA out in front.
I think Safemaster got lucky that his alarm is working. Both myself and the ADT technician verified my installation was correct, including the RJ31X setup and line seizure, which by defintion/design, ...
I had an ADT technician come out today to try to get my alarm working (it hasn't been able to communicate since I switched to Vonage). Long story short -- it's not supported. Period.
