OK, your built in Ethernet is probably toast.

Try another patch cable, just for giggles, to make sure it isn't a bad patch cable.

Motorola Modem -> RTP300 Internet/WAN Port

RTP300 LAN Port (any one of the four) -> Computer Ethernet Port

I think what is going on is that b/c the vonage router does not accept usb connections, you now are using the ethernet connection on your modem.

Do you have a Network Card in your comp ...
