Marco Andretti will make his second career start on an oval next weekend at the Kentucky Speedway as the teenage son of Michael Andretti goes for his third Menards Infiniti Pro Series win in just four starts.

After winning from pole position at the street circuit in St Petersburg and the road course at Indianapolis, the 18 year-old will be looking for his first finish on an oval after a late race crash knocked him out of his first career oval start, also at Indianapolis in the Futaba Freedom 100.

"I'm looking forward to the Kentucky race," said Andretti, who drives the #26 Vonage sponsored Dallara-Infiniti run by his fathers Andretti-Green team. "Our test down there last week went pretty good. It's pretty bumpy so it took me a while to go 'flat,' but I got there eventually.

“I'm just looking forward to running a Pro Series race again and getting another shot on an oval. It'll be something new, which is always pretty exciting."
