You should be aware that each device has it it's own phone number, so if you do get the other phone adapter, you would need to sign up for another line of service for it to work. In other words, you would have two separate Vonage accounts with two different phone numbers. Therefore, if you want to be able to take your "local" number with you when you travel ,you would have to take your Linksys WRT54GP2 with you, as any other Vonage adapter would have a different phone number.
