Vonage You say you have a wireless connection. I am guessing you get internet via cable/DSL

You say you have a wireless connection. I am guessing you get internet via cable/DSL as you say you left cable intact from modem to the wireless router.

elaborate on you did not set up wireless statement. I ask again do you get internet wirelessly (wifi) ir via cable/dsl?

- is the port you plugged the Vonage adaptor into a valid port. In other words is your wireless "router" really a router or is the port you plugged the Vonage adaptor disabled. You may need a switch or perhaps use the Vonage adaptor as a switch if you have one with ports. If so plug the Vonage adaptor into the modem and plug the wireless device into a Vonage port.

One check is to unplug the Vonage adaptor and plug a computer into that port and see if you get internet connection. That will verify if a given port is good or bad (so to speak).
