Vonage You are correct that you can forward your Vonage line to the phone at the house.

You are correct that you can forward your Vonage line to the phone at the house. That will work just fine. You are also correct that this doesn't help outgoing calls. The internet cafe won't help you use Vonage, unless you use a V phone, but that won't work with a Mac. If you move to this area and don't have wither cable or DSL you will need to drop Vonage (or any VOIP provider). There are some ways to use Cellular Internet, but these are not simple setups and I would not recommend them, especially if you aren't a tech person. You might be able to get DSL if there is phone service at the location if you do in fact more there one day. You would want to get naked DSL (also called dry loop) which basically means you are getting DSL without having a normal land line. This may not be possible though if the location is far enough from the phone companies central office. Sorry I don't have too much positive news, but hope this is helpful. I would be curious to see if someone has a better option for you on the usage from the internet cafe, but I can't think of one that will work on a Mac.
