Vonage Yes, I just read the comment from the 'Windows Control Panel/Internet options/Network

Yes, I just read the comment from the 'Windows Control Panel/Internet options/Network Connections/Local area connection/Support' that said "Assigned by DHCP" I assume this means the PC accepts the IP address from what is upstream? Starting over as suggested, I find the PC will not connect to the Westell directly (I am not sure what I did with the PC last time I tried, it was late in the evening!), but the the VT1005 will connect to the Westell DSL modem without problems . I've been using it that way for over 2 years. The V portal will not connect to the Westell directly. I have tried to both spoof/Clone the D Link and even the PC itself. However, I am not sure the Clone option works as stated. It seems the spoof option displays the new MAC address more readily. The Westell does not recognize anything but the D link router at this time. However, when I installed the D Link about 1 year ago (swapped out a Microsoft router), I don't remember having to set up the Westell in any specific way. Hope this helps clarify the situation.

Have you looked at the DLink configuration? Is it set to accept an address
I recomend the above as two thoughts come to mind: 1. The Westell DSL modem
I have looked at the DLink configuration and tried to duplicate it, but without
