Who else has had problems with the power adapter on the Vtech 8100 system? Six months ago my system went down. Tech support sent me to buy a new unit. This week, same problem, this time tech support sent me a new power adapter. Of course, I was without a home phone for three days. Elsewhere on the forums, I read that they will continue to do this "as long as tech support has a supply of power adapters." What then? I am already out an extra $150 from buying a second system, I am confident that I will NOT be spending more money on additional or new hardware when the power adapter fails again. Pretty clear that there is a problem with the power adapters and that it is just a matter of time until they fail - - and only a limited window of time when Vonage will be offering replacements.
