When I listen to the voicemail from the dashboard or from the email file, the sound quality is poor and choppy. The quality sounds fine when I listen to it via telephone. What is the problem?

Vonage's customer support personnel need more IT training. The choppy voicemail is an annoyance, but to combine it with incompetent customer support is unforgivable. I called Vonage's customer support, and after dialing through a million options, I finally talked to a live person. I told him about the problems with my voicemail. He asked the standard questions, such as do I have a broadband internet connection, do I have WinXP, and so on. He then told me that the problem is with my computer. His reasoning is that since the voicemail sounds fine when accessed through the phone, then my computer has problems listening to the .wav file. What? My computer is built around an AMD64X2 processor more than capable of playing .wav files. I told him that a powerful computer isn't needed to play a .wav file, however he suggested that the problem is with my computer. He would not listen to suggestions that there is something wrong with the actual file that Vonage sends. Is this the type of customer service I can expect from Vonage? Vonage really needs to better train their personnel on how the system works. Is there a way I can talk with a supervisor or an technician?

***UPDATE***

After speaking to another tech support person, my problem was resolved. The problem was due to software making itself the default player for sound files including .wav files. After speak with the second tech support person, I changed the default back to Windows Media and everything works fine.
