What is this "alternate number you can dial as a temporary solution" ?? how does this work, and what is this about? the way that is worded makes it seem like they (Vonage) have a number you can dial and then dial your 800 no. after a prompt or second dial tone, whatever... but if thats te case, what is this number? if what they mean is to dial the company's 'local' number, well, duh, we already do that for those companies that actually have local numbers.. doesn't work for places w/o them.. maybe we should start a thread with 'local' numbers or other work-arounds for toll free companies.. good news on that supposed CDN gateway tho, hopefully this is true and working sometime soon..
