Vonage Well, Vonage Customer support came thru and helped me to change back to my old Motorola

Well, Vonage Customer support came thru and helped me to change back to my old Motorola VT1005V telephone adaptor in place of the RT31P2. Guess what? All of a sudden, the caller ID started working the way it should. Ever since I got the RT31P2, the caller ID has had a "1" in front of everthing. In the US, Caller ID is only 10 digitd not 11 degits. Well my phones and other devices now show the numbers properly. I argued with tech support for hours about this issue but all they could say was that caller ID is 11 digits not 10 and has always been. Well on the Motorola box it is only 10 digits and that is what US phone companies always deliver. I wonder if any one els has noticed this? Any way, Life is much better now that the RT31P2 is out of the picture. I am a Motorola shop with a Motorola SB5120 Cable modem, A Motorola BR700 router and a Motorola VT1005V telephone adaptor. I am not saying it is the best there is but it the best I have ever had it working.
