Well I hope someone here has some suggestions.
With the Uniden in front of the router, I had a great solid registration connection to Vonage, but I had lousy audio quality. I have read on one or two web blogs that the UIP 1869V has QOS. But I have found no way to set priorities and my audio quality does not suggest that it is doing anything good.
Since I previously had it working great behind the router I decided to try that again. I moved the Uniden back behind the router after I did a hard reset of the router. This erased all the router settings. I then re-loaded a fresh copy of the firmware and decided to give it a try.
I now have great call quality, thanks to DLink's QOS, but I still lose registration to Vonage, just not as frequently as before. It will drop the registration even during an active call.
Any ideas from anyone, this is just not working the way it used to.
