Vonage Well, I am happy to say that I now have my Vonage set up EXACTLY the way I want it set

Well, I am happy to say that I now have my Vonage set up EXACTLY the way I want it set up and so far, it is working flawlessly...

I bought and installed this:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16833150013

Litterally took like 10 minutes to get it out of the box and get it working with my Vonage....

Key to getting the Netgear Device working is to NOT read the instructions... >.<

Here it is pretty much step by step...

1. Unbox the unit... :P
2. I highly suggest installing the stand and using it. I have heard there are some heat issues with the unit if you lay it flat.
3. Plug the power into the unit and let it power up and make sure the Switch is set to INTERNET (not Ad-Hoc)
4. Plug the INCLUDED Network Cable from your PC's 10/100 NIC to the unit.
5. Insert the CD included with the unit into the CD-ROM drive.
6. Close the window that Auto-Plays
7. Open Windows Explorer.
8. Browse to x:Setup WizardSetup Wizard.exe (x = your CD/DVD Drive). If it asks you for a password it is password . I suggest changing it.
9. Let the Setup Wizard discover the device (take a couple mins)
10. Keep hitting next until you get to where you can configure the Wireless Connection Settings.
-You will need the following:
-SSID
-IP ADDRESS (I suggest using a static IP)
-Subnet Mask (normally 255.255.255.0)
-Default Gateway (Router IP Address)
-Channel is not important (it will auto discover)
-Security (if you are using WEP, set that up here)

Once all this is completed, the unit will re-boot and then you should be on the net (you can test this by turning off the Wi-Fi card in the system and using this device to browse the net).

Once you verified it is working, un-plug the Ethernet cable FROM THE NETGEAR DEVICE. TURN OFF the Vonage box. Use the YELLOW Cross-Over cable that came with the Vonage box to hook this up to the INTERNET port on the Vonage Router. Turn ON the Vonage box and let it boot up and get all discovered on the net and whatnot...

Poof... Done... ETA, about 10 minutes from opening the box to talking on the phone and let me tell you, this works like a GEM!

p.s. you can at this point use the Vonage box as a router also (although cascading is not really reccomended) but think of it as a signal boost (for added range) if you need it...

Let me know if you have any questions, I'll help if I can, but for what I wanted, this worked like a charm!

Thanks all!
