Vonage WHEN YOU RECEIVE CALLS ON YOUR VONAGE LINE DOES IT RING THE BRITISH STANDARD : ring-ring........ring

WHEN YOU RECEIVE CALLS ON YOUR Vonage LINE DOES IT RING THE BRITISH STANDARD : ring-ring........ring-ring.......ring-ring......ring-ring
OR IS IT THE U.S. STYLE riiiiiinnnnnggg.......................riiiiiiiiiinnnnng................riiiIIIIIiinnnnng?

IF YOU WANT IT TO RING LIKE A UK PHONE ON INCOMING CALLS PLEASE LET CUSTOMER SERVICES KNOW ON 0800-652-5099 OPTION 3 THEN 2

THEY SEEM TO THINK THAT I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO'S REQUESTED THIS,AND INSIST THAT THE LINKSYS ROUTERS ARE PROGRAMMED FOR UK TONES,THAT MAY BE SO,BUT NOT FOR INCOMING CALLS THERE MUST BE SOMETHING IN THE ROUTER THAT SENDS OUT THE INCOMING RINGTONE AS AMERICAN AND NOT BRITISH.

IT IS NOT MY PHONES BECAUSE WHEN THEY ARE PLUGGED INTO TO THE BT LINE AND A CALL COMES IN THEY GO: ring-ring.....ring-ring ETC AS THEY SHOULD. AS SOON AS THEY ARE BACK IN THE LINKSYS ROUTER AND AN INCOMING CALL COMES IN ON THE Vonage NUMBER IT'S BACK TO THE U.S. STYLE rrrrrriiiiiinnnng................................rrrrrriiiiiinnnng

I'M NOT SAYING THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE US TONE BUT IT WOULD BE BETTER TO HAVE A UK RING FOR Vonage UK CUSTOMERS.

ANYONE MANAGED TO GET A UK RING ON THEIR LINKSYS ROUTER FROM CUSTOMER SERVICES/TECH SUPPORT? I'VE NOT HAD ANY LUCK YET. IF OTHERS REQUEST IT ITOO T MIGHT HURRY THEM UP TO SORT IT OUT.

THEY'RE SENDING ME A REPLACEMENT ROUTER,BUT I HAVE A FEELING THAT THIS WILL BE EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE ONE I'VE GOT NOW...........

Incoming ring still US style not UK

It's not a major problem as such but why can't they fix the incoming ring to a standard
Thanks for the all the calls and emails on this subject. Those of you have contacted
i prefer mine doing the US tone it lets me know which phone is ringing out of
My Vonage Linksys RT31P2 box acts just like a real BT line, and I have a Vonage USA
The info you provided seems to have done the trick. Phone now ringing the uk way.
Did it change all of the call progress tones for you as well? the ring-out, timed
I think it did change most of the tones, I've noticed a different pitch on some of
Interestingly enough, I've just tried what you've said above and spoken to two
Just spoke to Vonage Tech support requesting "uk style" phone settings and they
