Vonage VoIP is definitely going to take off. Some of my friends here have made me realize

Voip is definitely going to take off. Some of my friends here have made me realize that numbers will soon be a thing of the past and many new features are on the horizon. I wonder if there will ever be a standard for the features on the adapters. Some organization should put something together because this thing is going to explode. (Isn't it amazing that a major portion of your "phone company" is in that little adapter connected to your network?)

Of course I am just learning. There is probably some standard out there, but if there is that much difference in adapaters then someobody isn't listening. And that comment is pointed at the adpater manufacturers and not the Voip providers.

If Vonage further tied down the adpaters for compatibility then more people would complain about not being able to use this or that adapter. The Voip provider can't win.
