Very stange problem that began about 2 weeks ago w/ poor voice quality including dropped calls,(and internet) and I'm hoping someone can help figure out where the problem really is.

It seems to be intermittant with the Vonage quality comming and going originally making me suspect my ISP traffic but now I think it's the router as I consistantly see a drastic difference in speeds (from speakeasy) depending on whether the router is out or in.

Some details:

ISP: TimeWarner RoadRunner
Southern Tier, New York (607) 428-xxxx
Moto SB 4101 Cable modem
WRTP54G router (1.00.60 firmware and reset to defaults)
Uniden TRU-88xx phones

Speeds without router (Cable Modem -> PC and no WRTP54G) are fine: 4200-4600 kbs Down and 350-360 kbs UP

However, when I put the router in the mix, I drastically lose download speed whereas the upload speed is about the same: 85-250 kbs down and average around 350 up.

For what it's worth, I have my bandwidth saver set to 30 kbs.

I include below some testmyvoip tests with the PC directly connected to the WRTP54G. When I ran this test, the phone quality was just okay to poor. These reults are the BEST I have seen in some time (with results with normal scores around 2.5)
