Try this one out.

Finally after a month I find out my number was ported after my old phone stopped receiving calls sporadically.

Called old phone company and they gave me the news and who it was sent to. Call Vonage and they have no idea who this other company is.

Call the other company and they yes we have your number and we are waiting on Vonage for the OK to finish transfer..

Call Vonage again. They say the other guy dropped the ball and they will re-request the finalization and it will take several more days.

All in all I will not be able to receive any incoming calls on my old number for a total of at least 7 days.

I am running a small business out of my home and will loose several hundred dollars over this period. Does anyone care NO. At this point they got me and I am out of luck.

I worked for a company who Brought in T1 lines and setup Voice/Data for companies. It took about three weeks for the total thing and could have any phone numbers moved around in hours. So why days here.

UPDATE AUG 10TH
Vonage has finally released my number to SunRocket. Now comes the fun of trying to cancel my Vonage account.
