Traveling New Zealand for a few weeks and hitting the paid Internet cafes with various forms of restriction inspired me to create an "all in one" Pelican case based setup with everything to browse the 'net and make calls while traveling. I have a few design highlights and questions: -Laptop -One power cord to run everything (international adapters) -One Cat5 cable can drive everything -Wireless bridge functionality to drive from Wifi connection -QoS Router (perhaps wireless) shares 'net access for calls and data -RJ45 couplers/crossover adapters/low profile cables -(Opt) IPod charge and Vehicle FM/DC power kit -(Opt) GPS system with international maps -(Opt) Portable printer/scanner I may be just making this difficult. Perhaps I'd be fine with my laptop OR a public terminal AND a V-Phone - especially since I have a 3G card for the states. Questions: 0. Any good ideas for the project? 1. Can you register more than one device on a plan, only using one at a time? 2. If not, is it easy to transfer your Vonage plan to a different device. I certainly don't want a V-Phone for my home access. 3. Can you use the software Vonage with your existing hardware plan?
