Vonage Today is Sunday, my PAP2 stopped working over the weekend because as Vonage told
Today is Sunday, my PAP2 stopped working over the weekend because as Vonage told me: " Since they are getting ready to ship out a replacement RT312, that my vonage telephone has been "locked" to the device that will be shipped. The status of my order is "pending" and the unit has not yet shipped. Vonage began the process of sending the replacement router on Friday and dis-abled my phone adapter over the weekend and has said that there is simply nothing they can do until I get the router that they haven't even shipped to me yet.
So, here I am without a home phone for 8 days and counting. I'm just about to the point where waiting 14 days and paying $40 to port my number away from vonage will be a joy and make me happy.
Oh, yes, that's right, if you want to port your number away from Vonage, they will charge $40. And I'm supposed to be pleased with this and want to continue to do business with this company?
