Vonage To be completely honest, at this point, you would have to take this up with Microsoft.

To be completely honest, at this point, you would have to take this up with Microsoft. This is a known issue with Vista and these are the fixes that Microsoft suggests. If they don't work, you might be the only person out there whose issue was not resolved by performing all 3. You can also leave them as is since they do not harm anything.

Now with steps A - C completed, can you reboot and post your ipconfig /all again before doing anything else?

Also, what do you mean exactly by "reset my LAN"?

As for step D, this is to be performed on your PC, not on the router.

Follow ed56's 2nd post with the exception of step 5.

Do this on your computer:

1. Open Network Connections.

2. Right-click the network card you want to change, and then click Properties.

3. On the Networking tab, click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) v4 only.

4. Click Properties to open the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) v4 Properties dialog box.

Once here change the option to Use the Following IP address. This is where you will assign your PC the same information it had received via DHCP when it was in a working state.

IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.15.3
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.15.1

For DNS servers, assign the ones that your ISP assigned to the router which was in your first post.

DNS 1 24.178.80.36
DNS 2 24.177.176.36

Now click OK and then OK again until the windows close. Reboot your PC and retest. If this doesn't work, you may have an issue with your Network Interface Card in the PC.
