Vonage Three months ago, I changed my number because of harrasing phone calls. Since



Three months ago, I changed my number because of harrasing phone calls. Since then, I have not had service. I have the new number, but no service. I can log into my account, but I get no dial tone, and I can't send/receive phone calls.

At first, three months ago, i was able to get a dial tone, but any dialing out got me to a "fast busy" signal. Calls coming in would go straight to voicemail.

I work a lot, so time off is precious. I finally called in last week, and after being on the phone for 101 minutes, I stil was not at a solution. I have connected my computer to the router, changed a few settings, and even connected to the net through my Vonage router(I use 2 routers, and am normally not connected to it.) They tell me that my router is defective.

However, if that is true, that happened at the exact same time that my number changed. I can not fathom that.

I should have called ine earlier, but like I said, i work 3 jobs, so I am gone a lot. However, I need for this to work.

Do you think I'll ahve any luck getting my Vonage turned on? Any time I have called in, I have been stuck with the foreign customer care for the first 30 minutes, and afte that, finally connected with someone that I can understand.

They simply do not believe me hwen I tell them that I have unplugged and replugged the router and modem hundreds of times, and they tell me if I just do it one more time, it'll work.

What can I do?

The last 2 times I have talked to them, once in May, and once last week, I was told that I'd receive a phone call in 48 hours. I have not received one as of yet for either occurance.

I went to the Vonage website and emailed my complaint in, but havne't heard anything yet.

Do you think it would help me if I were to contact the Better Business Bureau?
