This has been driving me nuts. I need a headset for my v phone from Vonage. the usb phone you plug in your computer. the headset it comes up with keeps falling out my ear. so it makes it very annoying talking to someone and then have the "phone drop" because its not sitting in my ear.

I bought another headset, 2.5mm one, and these things are not cheap. so now I am wonder if I should experiment and get a usb headset, change the settings on the v phone to microphone to the usb headset. or look for another 2.5mm jack headset that has 3 bands the small one that just plugs into cordless phones or cell phones.

I just noticed how the Vonage headset has 3 little black rings on the plug. and the headset I wasted money on only has 2, I am wondering if that is why it wasn't not working. So I am wondering if anyone has successful got a headset with a 3 rings on the plug and can tell me what store or online store to get it from.

Vonage claims any 2.5mm jack headset will work in their usb phone but it's not working. So I am wondering if anyone here is having the same problem . or knows how I Can get it to work. they also claim they only have one choice of headset the horrible white one it comes with that does not fit in in everyone ear.

I looked around and came across on 1800headsets.ca their http://www.1800headsets.ca/headsets/cellular/plantronics/mx510_x1_black/description.html it's on delivery but I have no idea if they gave me the 3 band one or the 2 band since they have many different model numbers for it.

but now I am looking for something else. with headsets these days you seem to need to have about 3 or 5 of them just in case something happens. I am wondering how the usb headset would work wondering if anyone has any success using that instead of the headset jack plug.
