Describe your current network setup including and changes to routers and results that followed.
The instructions included in shipment and on Vonage website describe most variations but if you have an existing network it may not help. Installation CD is mostly worthless.
-You want to power down everything for one minute - (modem - routers and computers).
-power up cable/DSL modem. wait for lights to blink so it's online.
-plug in existing router and power it up.
-Access router admin page and make sure DHCP server is enabled and maximum users is set to something above 1 or 2.
-plug in and power up computer/make sure it accesses internet
-plug in Vonage RTP300 or similiar to existing network and power up-make sure cable goes to WAN port- phone light should light after a short time. Plug telephone into line1 and get dial tone.
If this does not work try eliminating existing router and use Vonage ATA only at least to see if it phone works.
