The caller id just displays "Line Error" on certain phone numbers, some land lines, some cell numbers. When I call it from my cell the caller id works fine on that call.
I have a 2 port splitter on the Vonage box, with a phone cord going to the phone on the same desk as the Vonage box is, then another phone cord from the 2 port splitter to the nearest phone jack to have our cordless phone in the kitchen work. Probably 35-40 feet of wire between the 2 port splitter and the cordless in the kitchen. With the original phone connection disconnected from the phone box outside to allow this method to work.

• Odd. What was the error message? Is it always the same numbers that give the error,
• Try connecting one phone directly to the Vonage box, this is usually interference
• Yea, I unplugged the line inside the phone box outside the house. It maybe the splitter
