7.4 Prohibited Devices.
You are prohibited from using Vonage services with any devices other than Vonage-approved devices received from retailers or from us.
The purchaser will, most likely, have problems getting the device transferred to their account. Although I, personally, disagree with this section as applied to the F1000, since it has been discontinued in the US and is unavailable through authorized sources, it is what it is.
Hopefully Vonage will re-start its WiFi phone sales soon or, in the alternative, create an exception to this rule for the F1000. With a little R&D the F1000 could work like the Vonage-Talk rather than an either-or device allowing it's use without disabling the home Vonage device.
