Thanks again for the help, your suggestion of plugging in my second router to work in tandem with the vonage one inadvertantly fixed the problem!
My other router was a linksys also, so I had assumed that the power supply would be the same as the new vonage one. It plugged right in and I had power...but it wasn't the same. As soon as I used the supplied power supply cord that came with the vonage router, everything started working.
Lesson learned...not all linksys routers are the same...even if they are the same size, color, and seem to power on the same. :eek:
