Some interesting information...My friend's box is working in HongQiao. I switched ADSL modems at my house and my problem changed from no dialtone to a message saying I had the pjhone in the wrong port...no matter which port it was in. Another friend near Zhongshan park said he was able to place a call and have it connect to a number in the US but that the voice was only one way (outbound.) I am moving house right now so I don't have mine setup at home. I will hope to get more details next week after my move. Will keep the forum posted.
