Vonage So you bought the Linksys adapter separate from the ATT phones, correct? Like

So you bought the Linksys adapter separate from the ATT phones, correct? Like Steve said, having a standalone adapter is the best way to go. I never liked the concept of the IP 8100. The base unit dies and you have two phones that are useless. The phones take a dive and you have a vonage adapter/base unit that can't be used with other phones. Anyways. Did you try adding your new adapter to your account yourself? You can do it via your online account and then switch your number to your new adapter.

New Vonage Phones

We bought the VTech IP-8100-2 and subscribed to Vonage in August of 2005, but now
I don't know about phones that will function with your current base unit. However,
VTech phones have become junk. They are made flimsy and as you said they deteriorate.
Well we actually got the Linksys adapter and bought some AT&T phones but now
It is just a fax modem PCI card. Any fax modem PCI card with the Ambient MD3200 chipset
