Since I am going to back to my country I tried to disconnect the service. I am going on 31st and my billing cycle falls on 29th, since they take 1month advance rent, they cant provide me service from 29th to 31st. They do not have prorate billing. I have to disconnect it on 28th. Then what is the point in taking the service.

Since the service is more than a year old Vonage told me that I do not have to return the device but there will be a disconnection fee of $29.99. When I asked them if you can unlock the device so that I can use it as a switch, they told no. I don't understand the point. You are taking the penalty of not using the service and you can not unlock. That means I am going to through the device in garbage. Thats ridiculous.

And one more thing the customer service told me that, if your billing cycle fall on a weekend then you cant disconnect. You have to pay for next billing cycle. They can not disconnect the service on a future date. That means the customer remember and call on the same day to disconnect.
