Vonage Same here. I deleted messages via the web yesterday evening and the stutter tone



Same here. I deleted messages via the web yesterday evening and the stutter tone is still active today at 5pm. I called them and they told me it's a known issue they are working on since currently it can take up to 24 hours for the stutter tone to reset after deleting messages from voice mail. I was told if it continues after 24 hours (post-deletion), then I should call back and they would create a ticket for the engineers to look at.

Note: After deleting them via the web, I have no messages in the "trash" bin on the web site interface, so I had nothing to clear out for some reason.

I also tried disabling VM, logging out, logging back in, re-enabling VM, then logging out again. No luck - still get stutter tones.

By the way - web interface is terribly slow today and my internet connection is fine so it seems to be just the Vonage account site.

Ta da! Fixed it myself. I went to my vonage website DASHBOARD and DISABLED
Sure, that worked until I got another message, then the indicator went back on
that's certainly one way to do it. But it would be a pain in the neck to have to do that
I've noticed my studder tones and vm indicator lights take 2-5 minutes to deactivate
I am having the same problems this morning, although it was never a problem before...
Actually, I discovered what the problem is... this seems to be a bug in Vonage's
This is so bizarre - now it's working normally again, as you would expect! Weird.
