Response from SBC regarding the status of the so called transfer request.

I would like to extend my sincerest apology for the problems you
encountered with leaving SBC to go to another company. We cannot
find any order ever submitted from another company. You have been an
excellent customer and their would not be any reason
we would stop you from being ported out.

The only thing would be that we would regret losing a good customer
like you. Your account does not have any restriction to prevent any
orders and your account is in excellent status payment wise.

You need to contact the other company you are trying to go to and
have their porting department get in contact with our porting
department to get the issue resolved. Nothing is indicated for your
XXX-2326 number and no orders were found. We look forward to
continuing to serve you.

To request a credit:

Step Action

1. Launch your Internet Browser and log in to www.vonage.com.

2. Using your username and password, log in to your online web account.

3. Click on the Billing tab.

4. Click on the link "Request A Credit".

5. You will be brought to a screen that will tell you what you will
need in order to request a credit.

6. Once you have gathered what you need to request a credit, click
Continue.

7. Your First Name, Last Name and Account number will be provided for
you.
Enter the reason for the credit request, the transaction ID, and then
description.

8. Click Submit.

All credit requests are subject to review and approval by Vonage.

You can check on the status of your credit on the Detailed Billing
page.

Approved credit will be applied to your current statement if the
request is sent at least 24 hours before your billing cycle ends, otherwise
it will be applied to the next billing cycle.

But there are no transaction ID's that I can quote for a credit request.

was sent to the carrier for further processing. At this time Vonage
is working with the carrier to complete your transfer in a timely
fashion. As soon as we can obtain a transfer date from the carrier we
will contact you immediately.

your correspondence. We will request an update on the status of your
transfer. You will be notified by email as your transfer progresses and
a date is set.. .....Due to overwhelming demands for transfers, some
requests have been delayed because the carriers are backed up.
....It would be best to wait until the transfer is
completed so that an appropriate credit can be issued for the total
length of your delay. Please contact us about this when it is
completed.

In response to your email, Vonage is billing you for your virtual
number not your number from your previous carrier. (Your virtual
number 1-). Since there was a a resubmission to your
carrier (xo)on Wed Oct 13, it can take an additional 20 days, if 20
days go by and the number is still not transferred give us a call and
you will be accredited.
