Vonage Our current vonage setup has our home router in front of our vonage adapter, however

Our current vonage setup has our home router in front of our vonage adapter, however we've had some service inconsistencies and we'd like to setup our phone adapter in front of our home router so it can prioritize voice traffic. however, there is also an FTP server and RDP connections made to a system inside the network, and will soon be an IPSec VPN tunnel as well, and we're having issues setting it up to pass through the phone adapter. Our current setup is as follows We have Comcast cable and a motorola SB5100. Connected to that is a Linksys BEFSX41, which has port forwarding configured for FTP traffic and RDP traffic (this will also be used for the VPN, as it supports IPSec). Behind the Linksys is our Motorola VT1005V Voice Adapter/Single port router for the vonage service, which we have 2 phone lines connected to. I had assumed that we could just hook the Motorola phone adapter directly to the cable modem, and then enabe the DMZ on the motorola and put the Linksys in the DMZ. However that doesn't seem to work. very well. or at all. Internet connectivity and phone service is fine, but outside connections cannot be made to the FTP or RDP servers. Now, the VT1005V is hardly configurable, but I thought the DMZ would allow traffic to pass, but it seems as though it doesn't make any difference. So my next thought was to disable the Motorola's DHCP, but to do that you also have to disable NAT, which we'll need in order to get outside. so that is out. Is there something I'm missing, or do we need to get a more configurable, all-in-one device, and does such a device exist? I need port range forwarding, IPSec VPN support, voice prioritization and support for 2 phone lines.

will do, thanks for the tip. what ports does voice traffic use? *edit* actually
Not sure on that, sorry, but the way my WRT54G is, I can set priority according to
