Vonage Okay, first of all, I've searched the forum, and found some topics that sorta touched



Okay, first of all, I've searched the forum, and found some topics that sorta touched on my problem, but none of them actually had a solution that I could find.

So, I have Comcast Cable Internet. I have a Linksys WRT54G Wireless Router w/2 Phone Ports for Vonage. I have a Linksys Router BEFSR41 v4 with the latest firmware. Windows XP SP2. Motorola SB5120 Surfboard Cable Modem.

Internet > Cable Modem > BEFSR41 > PC and WRT54G on seperate ports of BEFSR41.

Now, when my WRT54G (Vonage) is connected to the router, my PC randomly (seemingly) will get a "A network cable has been disconnected." error, and my AIM, WoW, etc. will disconnect. Within seconds, the network error goes away and I can reconnect the services, but they do disconnect. However, if my Vonage Router is NOT connected to the Linksys BEFSR41 router, the connection so far has been fine, without any disconnects.

I haven't been able to tell if the Vonage goes down at all.

I've tried my router setup with QoS and w/o QoS, no difference.

I tried having Internet > Cable Modem > Vonage Router WRT54G > PC, same issues with the random disconnects.

Internet > Cable Modem > PC works fine, just as the Router and PC sans the Vonage Router does.

So, basically, if I connect Vonage to my network in any way, my network connection on my PC randomly disconnects.

Any thoughts?
