Vonage Okay. Couple of clarifications: Opened Network Connections and got this 1.

Okay. Couple of clarifications:
Opened Network Connections and got this

1. Bluetooth-Disabled

2. Local Area Connection-Status? Network 2; Device name? Intel(R) 82566DC-2 Gigabit Network Connection; Connectivity? Access to Local and Internet; Network Category? Private network; Owner? System

3. National Access-BraodbankAccess-Status? Disconnected; Device Name? Std Modem over Bluetooth link #5. No Connectivity listed

4. Wireless Network Connection-Status? Not connected; Device Name? Broadcom 802.11g Network Adapter

Now, Assuming the settings that you requested were from the only connection that is active on my computer, then here is what I did on the Local Area Connection icon:
I clicked on Properties and then the TCP/IPv4 Properties and it was checked at the Obtain an IP address and DNS server address automatically. When I went into the Advanced Settings, the IP address tab showed that the IP address was DHCP Enabled and the Default gateway was 192.168.15.1 by Auto metric. Under the DNS and WINS tabs, there was nothing in the "in order of use" boxes but the "append primary...", "append Parent...", "Register this ...", "Enable LMHOSTS..." and "NetBIOS "Default" settings were all checked.

The IPv6 settings were also set to have the addresses obtained automatically but the advanced settings had the following:
Under the IP Settings tab, the IP address was Auto config only and the Default gateway had nothing. The Auto Metric tab was checked. The DNS tab had nothing in the upper box but did have the "Append primary...", "Append parent..." and the "Register this connection..." boxes all checked.

I think next post I'll clarify what exact info you need since I'm sure the above is way more than you asked.

Also, is this connection actually the one that the Vonage router is using? I thought this was my computer's internal connection, blah, blah, blah and ....I thought the router network connection was different. I don't think I said that right so if it's a tangent that's not relevent then just don't answer it.
