One, its typical of NY to want to tax the Voip companies. NY taxes everything very high and frankly I am sick of it. It doesnt seem to matter who we vote in or how much we band together as a community, its just keeps rising. I am slowly planning on moving my family out of this worthless state.
Two, Hasnt anybody ever heard of dialing there local police stations number!!!!! All this whining about 911 is ridiculous! Dial your local police. If you have to be put on hold there beause of alot of traffic then your going to wait for emergency response anyways. So get over and give the new technology time to work out the bugs. Too many people want it and want it now without the paitence to get it working right.
Let Vonage and the others work it out and get off there backs. If its not good enough stop whining and go back to a land line.
