Ok, I just got my Vonage stuff the other day. I am fairy proficient with computers, but this is kicking my butt! I have wireless broadband through Sprint. When I ordered, I didn't see anything that said I could not use this with Vonage, so I am assuming that it is possible. I have searched and searched, but really haven't figured this out yet. Do I need to have the SoftPhone instead?? Here are my stats: 1. Your location - Platte City, MO 2. Your ISP name and type (cable, DSL, wireless etc) - Sprint mobile broadband 3. Upload and download speeds: Download speed: 521504 bps Upload speed: 211176 bps 4. Modem make and model - Sprint Pantech wireless card 5. Type of Vonage adapter used ie RT31P2 or PAP2 - VT2442 6. Setup of Network ie Modem->Vonage Adapter->PC Ethernet from laptop to vonage adapter, phone cord from adapter to phone 7. Issue you are experiencing ie dropped calls, choppy audio etc No dial tone. 8. Run this VoIP Test: After the test has fully completed, in the Advanced Tab, click on "View Text" in the lower right hand corner. Copy-N-Paste that data into your post. Speed test statistics - Download speed: 521504 bps Upload speed: 211176 bps Quality of service: 98 % Download test type: socket Upload test type: socket Maximum download pause: 70 ms Average download pause: 22 ms Minimum round trip time to server: 169 ms Average round trip time to server: 403 ms VoIP test statistics - Jitter: you -> server: 15.8 ms Jitter: server -> you: 8.9 ms Packet loss: you -> server: 0.0 % Packet loss: server -> you: 0.0 % Packet discards: 0.0 % Packets out of order: 0.0 % Number of supported VoIP lines: 3 Estimated MOS score: 3.8 I would really appreciate some help here, but please explain in like I am a 2 year old!
