Ok! Are you using jack 1 or jack 2 for your fax service? Do you have the fax service from Vonage? What Phone adapter are you using? Is it a normal setup?
Have you tried lowering the baud rate to 9600 baud? The phone circuit may not be equipped to handle anything faster at this point. Also, have you disabled the ECM feature, if you have one?
You might also consider calling the manufacturer of the phone adapter. I am assuming that you are using the Linksys RT31P2. Since you haven't revealed to us what device you're using we have a more difficult time trying to brainstorm this problem. Furthermore, just because there is an oversight in using a fax in a phone jack does not necessarily mean the cause belongs to Vonage.
Would you consider calling Linksys, if they are indeed the manufacturer at: 1-800-326-7114 or you may elect to email them at support@linksys.com
