Oh my gosh - what the heck does "porting my number away from Vonage" mean?

You seem to know a lot about this (no surprise - the forum is quite sophisticated.) Do you have an opinion regarding the use of mobile phones with this system (with multiple handsets - if I can find one like that) vs the use of wireless jacks? I was reading something about them on this site earlier. Would they work for someone like me who is not going to tamper with the landlines and if so, which one would be better?

Re: my numbers. Yes, I find the connection to shaw to be good. When I ran that test I had two internet browsers open. Not sure if it would affect the results of the test or not. Just an FYI.
