New to the forums, but up till now I'd been really good at bothering tech support (man do I need to buy them some beer)

First off, what's the largest number of ATA's that anyone has successfully dropped behind a DSL? I've got about 7 at max right now, but it doesn't quite work. I'm looking to find out if there have been other people using the system for business applications that have done some of their own research.

The closest to a working setup has been with the netgear RP614, duh, good sysadmin, read the FAQ...

Anyway, I've discovered a new little wrinkle. Every 5 mins or so there is that drop-off in sound, it recovers after about 2 seconds. Here's my thought, and you can tell me if it seems insane to you, every time that the ATA re-queries the server (making sure that the router's NAT implementation still pays attention to it) there is a gap between when the outgoing "change me" signal passes the router and when it reaches vonage's servers. In the meantime, all of the inbound packets, encoded for the old NAT config get dropped, as the router has no idea what to do with them.

I've decided that consumer routers stink. I've been looking into some other options, mostly using a linux box. Does anyone have suggestions for reasonably secure routing packages, I'm at present looking at Zebra but I'm open to suggestions.

Basically, due to a lack of research of the system, I've been doing everything I can to make Vonage do something it can't. On an administrative level, the feature I crave the most is some form of batch admin tool. If you have 4 lines to configure, it can be annoying to set everything, but if you have 50, it can be killer. Has anyone come up with a solution for large format administration? If not, would you kindly help me lobby the good folks at Vonage to push this thing through production? Think about it, PBX truly becoming a thing of the past.
