Vonage New post - using service for 7 weeks, 5 of which we have not been able to make an outbound

New post - using service for 7 weeks, 5 of which we have not been able to make an outbound call. We get a dialtone, but when we dial we get nothing - no busy signal, no beeping, just silence. On the website it doesn't show a call has been made. Through all this our internet connection has been fine. My wife has a home office and i would have heard about it if it was down.

Spoke with their support two weeks ago while following their instructions on putting a static IP on the PAP2 and putting that IP in the DMZ on my router. Worked for two days. Called back again and was put on hold for five minutes. Tech came back and said he 'did something on their end' and to try it. It worked for several calls with him on the phone, then two days later we're back to nothing.

• Your test results look fine. I would suggest that you do one thing before calling.
• That's next - i jut really don't want to do that as our permanent pc is a old PIII 700
• When Steve was talking about disabling the firewall he meant in your wrv56g not
• I don't reboot unless something goes wrong. That doesn't happen very often.
• My mistake - i meant our old pc is so crummy that it won't run Norton Firewall and
