If it doesn't dial add *99.
If it still doesn't dial add the slow down code appropriate for your model (either ,#034 or ,#019 for series 2 and series 1 respectively).
Call Vonage and tell them you are trying to use a DirecTiVo and have them adjust your settings.
If you haven't got a DSL filter, get one and install it.
If that doesn't work then try using the 212 number. The problem with this method is that it involves either successfully dialing the toll free numbers to download local numbers (ok - if you have a land line you can use) or tricking the system into dialing it by adding the number to the prefix. I can't see how this won't break DirecTV calls.

In addition I would try to get it dialing with Vonage directly before adding in the wireless jacks.

I wouldn't consider this a hard, fast recipe. Obviously if you were in a situation where you could set your receivers to dial the 212 number but that was going to change you might want to start with that dial-in number.

Can anyone who has tricked their system into dialing the (212) number for TiVo confirm whether they are still able to order PPV by remote? Can you tell me if your system ever dials the toll free numbers for DirecTV?
