My question is, how do I get one.

I could do something to my current router, complain to Vonage, and have them send me a new one (if they offer free replacements).
But that's not a nice thing to do.

A quick search on google doesn't offer very much information on this router, and it's non-existent on the Linksys site.
It's not on eBay (no surprise there though).

I do not like the RT31P2 very much and had it behind my NAT/DHCP/Firewall router (SMC2804WBR), but even with the right ports forwarded, phone never worked right.
I spent an hour yesterday setting the RT31P2 as the first router in the network.
Both routers have NAT enabled, so I have to forward ports on both routers for certain services and programs on computers within the network.

The way I have the network setup, I can't give the SMC DMZ through the RT31P2, but that won't work because whenever anyone uses the phone, that DMZ'd IP doesn't get ANY bandwidth.
Literally takes 10 minutes for a page to load fully, if at all.
Does that no matter what QoS settings I use.
I spent about 40 minutes with Tier 2 support trying to figure that one out. Right before he was about to transfer me to someone else, I found out it was DMZ.

I also do notice that this box gets pretty hot.

I'm hoping to find more info on this RTP300. I really love the fact that this one is based on Linux firmware. That tells me two things.
Stable, and extremely customizable.
Can't wait for some 3rd party firmware to come out for this model.

If it has decent logging and an SPI firewall, I would use it in place of the RT31P2 and my SMC.
Add those to the pile of routers in the closet.

Anyone know what the street price for this thing will run?

I've only been with Vonage for a month now. Sucks they didn't change routers back then =

(Why on earth is suck.s a bad word on these forums? That's lame)

Will new subscribers get the Linksys RTP300 to?

Yes arcking, new subscribers as well.
That figures, I just signed up and received my RT31P2 today...
I can't necessarily condone this, but there's plenty of ways that your RT31P2
