Thanks for your comments. I connected one of the PCs directly to the modem last night and when I left for work this morning I was still having internet access. Will check again when I get home in about 2 hours, and I expect it to be fine. Yes, I do get phone connection through the RT300 even when I do not have internet access. Although of late my wife has been complaining of lost calls and poor clarity.

Assuming the worst case that I need to replace the RT300, what is the most current "recommended" version of router to buy? Can I buy it from Best Buy and the likes? Can Vonnage pay for a replacement Router?
