Vonage Just letting out my frustrations, two months ago I checked to see if my local number

Just letting out my frustrations, two months ago I checked to see if my local number could be transferred, according to Vonage's website it could, got the service, did the number transfer request and waited two months. Finally got the email stating the date the number would transfer, it didn't happen and no word from Vonage as to why. Called tech support, turns out my number cannot be transferred because they (Paetec) don't reach this far. You would think Vonage would have checked this before telling me it could be transferred. They did credit me the two months but now I can't even get a number local to me, looks like I'll be dropping them. Transferring from Verizon Land Line Location: Kittery, Maine Area Code: 207-439
