Vonage Just got FIOS yesterday. I signed up for the 15 Mbps FIOS service. I did a speed test

Just got FIOS yesterday. I signed up for the 15 Mbps FIOS service. I did a speed test using Verizon's own "FIOS Speed Test" and result said speed is only 8Mbps. W-T-F, I paid for 15! And Verizon's FIOS speed test is from my PC on FIOS to Verizon's Server on Verizon's own network. It doesn't even go out to the internet. So they can't say its something else. I'm going to complain and if they can't improve the speed, they should not charge me the full $49 a month. They should prorate the cost according to speed! But I'm hoping they can increase the speed somehow. I want to pay but I do want the advertised 15 Mbps speed. I'll even settle for 13 or 14 Mbps but NOT 8 Mbps. BTW, I have Vonage VOIP too. I will hook it up to FOIS tonight and see how it is. Before we had 5 Mbps cable modem service and when my wife called Brazil using Vonage, she said the sound quality was noticble inferior to the land line. I am hoping the sound quality will improve with FIOS. We'll see.
