To use SJphone with Vonage, you need to get the Vonage profile.
Go to http://www.sjlabs.com/sjp.html
Download "Service profile for Vonage (MS Windows)"
This will download an EXE file. (if your on a mac, uncompress the file with Stuffit)
Launch SJPhone, and go to preferences, you need to import the vonage.ini file to the profiles. You then need to specify your phone number and password.
The quality is SOOO much better then the crap of X-pro. Every 10 seconds, X-Pro would just emit beeps and hisses. SJPro works fine, the entire time.
As for it being Free: it is, apparently they have a higher quality codec which you only get if you pay.
