You are missing my point. It's a small dollar amount, but the issue is being forced to pay for something I don't want or need. It's about freedom of choice instead of being forced to "upgrade" involuntarily. The related issue is that they are calling it a "free … added benefit" when it in fact costs money. That is misleading and dishonest.

For you to say my concern is not "real" is jut plain rude. It's real to me, and you should respect that.

If you think each customer should be forced to accept this bogus "upgrade", then vote "No" in my poll.

But if you think each of us should get to choose what features and add-ons we want to use or pay for - just like we can with voice mail, virtual phone numbers and all the others - then vote "Yes".

The recent policy change bundles up a service into the basic calling plan that I don't want, and forces me to pay extra for it too. They could offer it for free to everybody or make it an optional add-on service. Either of those would be fine.

Instead though, they're requiring it and falsely claiming it's free when it's not. They are insulting the intelligence of every customer when they claim something's free and then turn around and charge 50˘ each month for it.

Surely you can see why this is objectionable!
